Cover up in a stunning Vintage Aquascutum Coat for every occastion. This classic vintage coat hails from one of the most famous UK design houses. Set up by John Emary, Aquascutum began as a Mayfair tailors in 1851. From the beginning, fine craftsmanship and innovation lead to a patent for the first waterproof textile. Recieving a royal warrent after King Edward VII orfered a coat, womens wear was introduced in 1900s. In excellent condition, this coat is a clsssic which will carry you through every season. There is a tiny repair on the left shoulder, but is is so small you have to look hard to find it.
A simple design, with a simple small collar and buttons down the front (all intact) with pockets on either side of the coat. Made from a fine light wool which is waterproofed, you wont have to worry about taking special care of this vintage coat. Falling to mid calf, depending on your height, it the perfect piece to take you to town or on a country outing. If you ad a vintage Hermes scarf you will have perfect look.
