40s Vintage Navy Couture Dress Uk 10

Elevate your style with this stunning 40s Vintage Black Couture Dress. Crafted with sophisticated couture techniques, this dress exudes timeless elegance. The fabric is dark navy which shimmers in the light covered in tiny circular embroidery in multicolours. The torso is fitted with a little velvet collar and closes with a zip the back. The skirt is full and gathered at the waist, falls to ballet length (depending on your height). The sleeves are wide with an elasticated cuff. Designed by “Roecliffe & Chapman”  Grosvenor Street, London. They specialised in high end women’s evening wear and ballgowns in the 40s and 50s. Measures 44cm across the shoulders, 46cm across the bust, 36 cm across the waist and 127cm long. In excellent condition.
